Agreement on IITs/IIMs faculty pay revison

As per the telegraph report, an agreement has reached out in a meeting between HRD minister and Directors of IITs/IIMs and now the salary of Assist. Professors in IITs and IIMs will start at 37400 instead of 30000 but grade pay will be Rs 8000 and there is no provision of placement in PB 4 after 3 years as in case of UGC.
