As per Times of India Article dated 01/09/2009, NIT teachers are not in mood to play second fiddle to their counterparts at IITs and IIMs. The focus has turned to the draft of `Vision 2020' document that states that the NITs should be brought at par with IITs. The case of NITs related to disparities is likely to be put up before HRD ministry by an eight member committee as per the statement of Director, MNNIT.

Is there a solution in the site for removal of disparities existing among teachers of IITs, NITs, UGC teachers, Principals of the colleges, central govt. employees etc. ?

Frustrtaion is brewing up not only among teachers of different institutions but also among faculty of same institution. A common package with distinct monetary institutional tag is the need of hour.
